NCS welcomes Neil MacNeill from Truro, NS to our team as Chief
Operating Officer and Data Centre Manager for the
Green Data Centre
Division. He comes from an International Business background and is
excited about new technology and how it can benefit the customer.

Sun Microsystems Canada ISO to deliver the worlds
greenest thin client computer consuming only 6 Watts of power. Traditional
PC computers in an office environment uses 300 Watts of power. An
organization using
SunRay only needs 1 IT person to 100 units. Compared to
1 IT person for every 10 PC's. Also the
SunRay has a zero administration
feature built in for remote management and is a great application for Call
Centers, Hospitality, Librariers, Kiosks & office use. CTO's and CFO's will
love this unit because of the energy and HR savings.

NCS Network upgrades
Grandview Blacktop Ltd, Burnaby, BC from a SCO
UNIX system to state-of-the-art Dell servers. Grandview Blacktop Ltd purchases
Microsoft ISA 2006 VPN and Firewall server to allow remote communication to
all of its sales force and remote plant operations. Grandview also uses a
revolutionary heavy construction system software made by
Explorer Software,
Microsoft based system running on a Dell 2950 server. Implementation was
done locally in British Columbia and remote management from NCS Network.
