Hilltop Medical Clinics - Desktop as a Service
NCS Network deployed 64 Sun Ray 2 Virtual Display Clients for Hilltop Medical Clinics south western British Columbia's largest medical clinic. This enabled physicians and medical support staff to work between 3 locations in the Lower Mainland with smart cards. Reducing patient wait times and instant access to electronic medical records (EMR). Physicians can also respond to emergencies from anywhere in the world using Sun Secure Global Desktop to access patient records securily and efficiency.

CSWU Local 1611 - Privacy and Security
NCS Network deployed Sun Ray 2 Virtual Display Clients replacing aging Dell PC's. These PC's run local operating systems which can be infected and security can be compromised easily. With the Sun Ray 2 there are no moving parts, no power supply, no heat and no means of copying data to or from the network. The Union Local and its members can trust that their data is completely safe and secure in the Data Centre.

Victoria Court Career College
First green college in Atlantic Canada
NCS Network partnered with Victoria Court Career College to offer technology courses and green collar related training in Truro, Nova Scotia. Inside the classrooms are full of Sun Ray 2 Virtual Display Clients making it the first green college in Atlantic Canada. Each student is given a smart card and a virtual desktop space for the duration of their enrollment. This technology enables the student to work from any station and to work from home using Sun Secure Global Desktop if they are ill or can't get to the college.
Colchester SPCA - Relaunch of website
Colchester SPCA needed to relaunch their site, fresh new design with integrated photo gallery, hosted and updated by NCS Network by donation. http://www.colchesterspca.ca
Testimonial from Colchester SPCA
Who knew that, while out canvassing for donations, we’d find a company
who’d volunteer to set up a website, revamp the look and contents, and
maintain the SPCA website for us. That’s just what happened when we
approached Neil MacNeill, Contracts Manager from NCS Network. After a meeting with Neil, Emerich Winkler, President, & Margaret Flunkert, Web Programmer,
to discuss needs & wishes, a plan was hatched. After some info gathering, the new & improved www.colchesterspca.ca website was launched. What a difference, and so easily accessible compared to our old site on anglefire.com. Then they volunteered to host the SPCA Calendar contest for us, getting rid of the old slow site & building it into our new site so people only had to go to one place for everything. Poor Margaret’s fingers were worn to the bone but she spent countless hours downloading pictures and keeping tallies of all the votes then provided a report at closing. They had no idea how labor intensive the site would be, but they trooped on. We are very impressed and thankful for all their hard work. All the animals who have found homes, and those still waiting for their forever homes, send tail wags & kisses their way. It is so refreshing to find a local company with such charitable hearts. Great work guys.
